Remembrance
Happy Friday to all of our Families,
A week filled with REMEMBERING, REFLECTING and being COURAGEOUS; enjoy our walk around school this week as we each consider what it is to be brave. A wonderful community opportunity to genuinely reflect, consider and check in with each other.
We began to think about our NEW value of COURAGE this week. As we started to do this, we reflected on Remembrance Day and those who gave their lives for us all in the world wars. We considered bravery and COURAGE in this context and thought about what God says about having COURAGE.
We all made poppies – all different, and all carefully created to show our respect.
With grateful thanks to Nick Briggs – our trumpet player for joining us to share The Last Post for our 2 minutes silence.
