Welcome to our school website, thank you for taking the time to have a look at who we are and what we do here. We BELIEVE we have a very special community at St Andrew’s and invite you to find out more about us. Our school ethos is based around enabling our youngsters to THRIVE, LEARN and SHINE in all the ways they can. We BELIEVE in ourselves, our community, one another and God and acknowledge that together we can explore the many possibilities life has to offer.
We sit at the heart of Fontmell Magna and are surrounded by not only a beautiful landscape but also a community who support and embrace us. Our Local links are strong; we are proud to be at the heart of this wonderful village. We are a growing community, growing in strength, in number, in creativity, in positivity and in skills and knowledge. Our ever developing curriculum seeks to meet the needs of all who come here, we work hard to overcome barriers to learning and strive for inclusivity. Our curriculum drivers of COMMUNITY, ENVIRONMENT and COMMUNICATION are woven into all we do.
We welcome you to come and visit us, see who we are and get a flavour of what life is like for a child attending St Andrew’s. We sit happily in the Sherborne Academy Schools Trust where we find support and encouragement for our work. We are proud of who we are and what we have created here and we’d love the opportunity to show you why.
